rubber pads are steel reinforced with a stamped metal plate molded into the
rubber to give more strength to the pad for more durability and longevity. Beware
of cheaper products being offered on the internet that do not have steel
reinforcement.

Its a very nice set of pads that should last a very long time. I'm impressed with the quality and feel. I'll continue to buy my lift pads from this company. Don't get fooled by a low price as I did when I bought a chinese made set of pads, I was very disappointed and unhappy. You get what you pay for when you buy a quality set like these.
